Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šManage and maintain accounting records, including payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial records. šPrepare and analyse financial statements to provide insights and recommendations to the Finance Manager. šMonitor daily transactions and bank activities to support treasury functions. šPreparing and submitting VAT returns and National Insurance contributions. šMaintaining and monitoring the companyās financial systems. šReconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
The ideal employee must have:
šA bachelorās degree in accounting or finance. šAt least 3 years of experience in a similar role. šKnowledge and competency in accounting principles. šStrong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software. šKnowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards. šAbility to work independently and as part of a team. šProficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software. šAttention to detail and accuracy. šAbility to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
